1. Introduction

Welcome to Urjeevi SPARK. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website (urjeevi.com), our products, including Weekly Science Missions, and our services. By purchasing a membership, booking a workshop, or using our platform, you agree to these Terms.

Urjeevi SPARK is an initiative of Urjeevi Labs, located at SINE, IIT Bombay, Powai, Mumbai - 400076, Maharashtra, India.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

All content provided in our kits, on our website, and through our digital channels is the exclusive property of Urjeevi Labs. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • The Mission Sheets: The text, illustrations, layouts, and instructional design of our Weekly Science Missions.

  • Video Content: Explainer videos and tutorials on our YouTube channel and website.

  • Brand Assets: The Urjeevi SPARK logo, "Roots to Rockets" tagline, and visual identity.

Usage Rules:

  • Personal Use Only: You may use these materials solely for the education of your registered child/children in a home setting.

  • No Reproduction: You may NOT scan, photocopy, distribute, upload, or share our mission sheets or digital content with others.

  • No Commercial Use: You may NOT use our kits or curriculum to conduct paid workshops, classes, or tuition centers without a formal partnership agreement with us.

3. Memberships, Plans & Billing

  • Subscription Tiers: We offer various membership tiers (e.g., Monthly, Quarterly, Annual, etc.) and one-time purchase bundles. Specific inclusions for each plan are detailed on our website or catalogue at the time of purchase.

  • Commitment Plans: Plans billed as "Quarterly," "Half-Yearly," "Annual," or similar long-term durations offer a discounted rate in exchange for a commitment. These are billed upfront as a single payment.

  • Renewal: Unless explicitly stated as "Auto-Renewal" at checkout, memberships require manual renewal. We will contact you prior to expiration to confirm if you wish to continue.

  • Plan Changes: You may upgrade your plan at any time by paying the difference. Downgrades generally take effect only after the current pre-paid term ends.

4. Community & Wall of Fame

We are building a supportive community of young scientists.

  • Wall of Fame: Selected student submissions (photos/videos of completed experiments) may be featured on the Urjeevi SPARK YouTube channel or website to celebrate their work.

  • User Content: By submitting photos or videos, you grant Urjeevi Labs permission to display this content on our official channels. We will never share sensitive personal data (like addresses or phone numbers) publicly alongside these images.

  • Conduct: Harassment, bullying, or inappropriate language in our community spaces (including WhatsApp groups) will not be tolerated and may result in the termination of your membership without refund.

5. Safety & Adult Supervision

Our science missions are designed to be safe and use everyday household materials. However, science experiments, by nature, involve handling physical objects and materials.

  • Parental Responsibility: By purchasing our kits, you acknowledge that adult supervision is required while children perform the experiments.

  • Disclaimer: Urjeevi Labs is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from the improper use of materials, failure to follow instructions, or lack of supervision.

6. Shipping & Delivery

  • Dispatch: Weekly Missions are dispatched according to the schedule provided at sign-up.

  • Address Accuracy: You are responsible for providing a correct and complete shipping address. Urjeevi Labs is not responsible for kits lost due to incorrect address details provided by the user.

7. Returns & Refunds

Please refer to our separate Refund Policy page for details on damaged items, subscription cancellations, and workshop bookings.

8. Modifications to Service and Prices

  • Price Changes: Prices for our products and subscriptions are subject to change. Current subscribers will be notified via email or WhatsApp prior to any price adjustment affecting their renewal.

  • Service Modifications: Urjeevi Labs reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service (including specific kit themes, future STEM tracks, or digital features) at any time.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
